In the cyber attack on the websites of social media and technology giants around the world, all account information of more than 26 million users, including payment information, was stolen. It was learned that the malware attack targeted computers with Windows operating systems. Companies whose user accounts were targeted include Instagram, Facebook, Apple, Netflix and Twitter.
Amazon, Apple ve Facebook including platforms such as social media and tech giants’ sites became the target of hackers.
THE ACCOUNT INFORMATION OF MORE THAN 26 MILLION USERS STOLEN
All account information, including payment information of more than 26 million users, was stolen in the worldwide cyber-attack against logins opened on more than 3.25 million devices.
The malware attack, disclosed by cybersecurity provider NordLocker, revealed that it targeted computers with Windows operating systems.
THERE IS 1.2 TERABAYTE OF DATABASE
Cybersecurity experts investigating the incident state that there is a 1.2 terabyte database full of stolen personal information. On the other hand, other companies whose user accounts were targeted include eBay, Instagram, Netflix, Paypal, Roblox, Steam, Twitch and Twitter is located.
