Capacity fills in 2022
The radioactive materials formed in pure water, which is used to cool the damaged reactors in the plant, are decomposed except for the tritium material, thanks to the Advanced Liquid Processing System (ALPS).
The decomposed water stored at the facilities and increasing day by day is expected to fill the water storage tank capacity of the Fukushima complex in the summer of 2022.
