NASA had the helicopter come out of the belly of the vehicle called Perseverance (Perseverance), which landed on Jezero Crater on February 18.
Mars helicopter Ingenuity, rising 10 centimeters, landed on the surface of Mars.
NASA announced the incident with the following tweet:
“The landing of the Mars helicopter has been approved. The helicopter’s journey of 471 million kilometers in Perseverance ended with the spacecraft coming out of the belly and falling to the surface of Mars today from a height of 10 centimeters. The new goal is to survive the night safely.”

Ingenuity will be the first helicopter to fly on a planet other than Earth. NASA announced the helicopter’s flight date as April 8.
However, the date has delayed. It was announced that the flight could not be made before April 11.
In its previous statement, NASA stated that “The departure will not be before April 11 and the data will reach the Earth on April 12”.
The helicopter, which has a battery charged with solar energy, is planned to rise three meters from the surface and stay in the air for about 30 seconds on its first flight.
