The Teachers Academy Foundation (ÖRAV) is expanding its educator staff to meet the changing needs of the pandemic. For this purpose, 70 ÖRAV trainer candidates participated in the Educator Training Camp, which was organized in April and whose content was designed in line with the principle of continuous development of the educator, and completed a 7-day program.
Established in 2008 to support the personal and professional development of teachers, ÖRAV is expanding its educator staff to meet the changing needs of the pandemic. Until this year, Turkey’s Foundations working in every region of 220 through team consisting of educators reached more than 200,000 teachers in 81 provinces with free training programs. In addition to regular webinars and project-based online trainings conducted in cooperation with the Provincial Directorates of National Education; Meeting the individual demands of schools and teachers with the roof program Interactive Lesson Design in Online Education, ÖRAV received 1,300 applications to reach more teachers. 70 trainer candidates selected from among the applications will be actively involved in supporting the development of their colleagues after the trainings and mentoring programs they will attend.
Educator Training is designed in line with the principle of continuous development of the educator.
Candidate educators who joined the ÖRAV team received training on adult education, Interactive Lesson Design in Online Education and ÖRAV culture in the program organized in April and designed in line with the principle of continuous development of the educator. Candidates will attend interactive course design trainings in online education and make observations until the second phase in May. In the second training to be held in May; Studies will be conducted on Educator Training, Teacher’s Nature and Distance Team Mentoring. Following these trainings, the candidates, who will give five trainings accompanied by their mentors, will start to contribute to the development of their colleagues by taking part in ÖRAV programs in line with the evaluations to be made.
