Here are a few of the iPhone 11 problems we’ve discovered on all three versions of the phone so far, and some tips on how to fix them.
Most Apple As the watchdog’s and iPhone user’s attention shifted to the newly released iPhone 12 lineup, customers who bought and still own the iPhone 11 were looking forward to completing the issues that made last year’s new phone experience a little less. Apple’s biggest problems for owners of the 2019 model iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max were related to iOS 13. Fortunately, none of these OS problems have gone to a great deal, but they did cause some confusion. With the release of iOS 14 much more smoothly, most of the pressing issues seemed to have disappeared.
The new hardware and software being launched at roughly the same time makes it difficult to decipher where the problems originate. There have been so many reports of problems with iOS 13 that Apple has released a number of updates to respond to them and hoped these fixes alleviated hardware-related issues. Here are a few of the iPhone 11 problems we’ve discovered on all three versions of the phone so far, and some tips on how to fix them.
Problem: Image issues
Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are among the iPhones affected by a display problem. A customer at the MacRumors site explained it this way: “About 25% of the time I unlock the iPhone 11 Pro, the screen looks dim with a green tint. It returns to normal after about 3 seconds. Does anyone know if this is a problem with iPhone 11s? Probably new. i need to do a restore / install but try to avoid it if possible. ”The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max models are most often reported for this problem and the phones’ OLED display may be responsible.
Observers noted that installing iOS 14 might fix the problem. However, while this could be a permanent software issue, many customers noticed that screenshots from green tinted glass did not show a tint, indicating that this was a hardware issue. Apple acknowledged the issue and, in some cases, approved screen replacements under warranty.
Problem: Wireless charging
Problems with wireless charging not working are quite common. Some customers with Qi wireless chargers report that after placing certain iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max models on the charger, the iPhone may recognize it as a charger, but it will not actually charge and may even heat up. Some iPhone 11 owners said that this error first appeared after installing various iterations of iOS 13, and that could shift the blame to the software.
Regardless of its origin, if there is still such a problem, you can continue charging your phone with a wired connection. As a start, make sure to update your iPhone’s operating system to the fairly stable iOS 14. Mechanical maneuvers involve a shutdown reset / reboot which solves the problem for some people.
Press and release the volume up key
Press the volume down key and release.
Press and hold the power button and wait until the Apple logo appears.
Problem: Activation issues
Activation issues are common when you first try to turn on and run a new phone regardless of the model, and the iPhone 11 suffered from it too.
If you are having trouble activating the iPhone 11, first make sure that all systems are working by checking Apple’s System Status page. Wait until all systems are running and try again. If it’s green and still doesn’t work, make sure you have a SIM card inserted in your phone. If you can switch the SIM card from your old phone to a new one, try this first. If you get a No SIM or Invalid SIM error message, Apple recommends the following steps.
Make sure your wireless plan is running.
Update your phone to the latest iOS version and reboot.
Go to Settings> General> About. If an update is available, you’ll see a prompt to choose OK or Update and then update.
Take your SIM card out of its slot and then put it back in. The slot should close securely. Use only the sim card tray that comes with your current phone.
Try a different SIM card. You can get one at your carrier’s retail outlet or ask your carrier to test your phone with a different card. If necessary, replace your current SIM card with a new one.
Problem: Volume, sound and sound issues
If you notice any issues with the audio function, there are various solutions you can try.
Remove your SIM card from your phone and then replace it to fix a badly placed card issue.

Make sure your microphone is clean, clear and unobstructed.
If the above steps don’t improve the sound, clear your phone’s cache by restarting.

A common complaint with various iPhone 11 units is that users get uncomfortably warm regarding the impact on the long-term battery life of their new cell phones. Problems with heat included the following comment: “I bought my iPhone 11 Pro on Friday and noticed my phone getting hot on Saturday and then Monday while using GPS. It was uncomfortably hot. I took it to Apple on Monday evening and the phone did not turn off or give a very hot warning. They said that as long as it was okay. I still think there is a problem and I will be following it closely.
These suggestions will help you cool down a hot phone safely. If your phone regularly gets hot too fast, take it to your nearest Apple Store or contact technical support.
Remove from cover.
Do not expose your phone to prolonged heat (for example, in a hot car).
Games, especially AR games, can cause the device to heat up.
Keep the radio silent by putting the phone in Airplane Mode for a while. In Control Center, tap the Airplane icon to turn off all GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular signals. or disable Location Services, GPS or Bluetooth individually whatever you don’t need right away.
Wait for a while to charge the device as it can heat your phone as well.
Turn off the iPhone and reboot it with a hard reset. (Press the volume up button, then the volume down button and then the power button. It does not ask if you want to turn off the phone, it just hangs up.)

Problem: Bluetooth connection problems
Several iPhone 11 owners have stated that they have problems connecting their peripherals via Bluetooth. These problems can include anything from the problem of pairing their phone with the vehicle to maintaining the connection after the device is finally paired. One user wrote: “The new iPhone 11 with iOS 13 is having Bluetooth connectivity problems. … The problem is not connecting. The problem is staying connected. … Also, I’m having connection problems with my car. It stays connected for 5 minutes or more, then automatically disconnects and reconnects. Really annoying. I haven’t had problems with my iPhone 6 Plus before.… I just updated to iOS 13.1, but this really annoying Bluetooth problem still persists. “To say all this, if you’re having trouble keeping your device connected via Bluetooth, you’re not alone. .
Before calling Apple Support, the company suggested a few solutions that you can try on your own. Before testing any of these suggestions, make sure your iOS is updated to the latest version available. We recommend that you make sure you have iOS 14 installed.
Go to Settings> Bluetooth on your device and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. If it is disabled and you are unable to enable it, restart your iOS device, then try pairing and connecting again.
Make sure your Bluetooth accessory and device are close by.
Turn your Bluetooth accessory off and on.
Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to power. If your accessory uses batteries, replace them with new ones. If you were able to connect in the past, unpair the accessory and put it back in discovery mode. Then try pairing and connecting again.
If you can pair your accessory with devices other than your iOS device, pair the accessory with other devices and try again.
