“We can’t be alone in the universe,” said the 53-year-old particle physicist.
Speaking to Mirror, Cox said, “And even Milky WayWe may not even be the only civilization in Turkey,” he said and added:
“There may be other civilizations in the universe. I don’t think we are alone.”
“According to some calculations, there are 200 billion galaxies in the universe, and 2 trillion according to some.”

“Imagine we’re the only ones in the Milky Way.”
“If there was one in every galaxy, there should be 200 billion civilizations.”
“We want to believe there are ETs. We want them to come. But we don’t want them to be Darth Vader.”
“And of course, in dreams we see aliens coming in giant spaceships. If they can come to us, their technology must be very advanced. So why would they come on their own in giant ships? They can explore with iPhone-sized mini robots.”
