TikTok-like, Instagram Reels Coming to Facebook
The company is committed to this and has many advantages to displace the TikTok app. The biggest advantage of Instagram is that it is likely to rank high in countries where Chinese apps like TikTok are banned. India, which has banned many Chinese-made apps in its country due to its border problems with China, will be Instagram Reels’ largest market.
According to Facebook, some Instagram Reels creators in India will have the opportunity to share their short video clips on Facebook. Facebook will promote some users’ Reels videos in the main app information stream. The company will call this short video product “Facebook Reels”.
In August last year Facebook, United States of AmericaLaunched Instagram Reel, a short video function in more than 50 countries and regions, including India and the UK. Everyone knows that TikTok is its biggest competitor in this field. Reel, like TikTok, allows users to create 15-second videos based on music or sound and adds augmented reality (AR) special effects.
